Zev Mayer files plans for 90-unit resi building in Highbridge

Zev Mayer of Skyrock NYC, on March 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 90-unit, 48,137-square-foot residential building at 1258 Shakespeare Avenue in Highbridge, the Bronx.

There have been 14 new building plans, including these, filed in Highbridge in the previous 12 months.

This past December, the developer filed plans for the construction of a 50-unit, 29,946-square-foot residential building at 1268 Shakespeare Avenue in Highbridge, the Bronx.

The new plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00694049. The development site spans multiple tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have 10 dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have 16 dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreation space. The building will also have 45 parking spaces.

The architect listed is Nikolai Katz Architect.

One of the lots was acquired for $700,000 on February 23, 2022.
