Bluesky Builders files plans for 48-unit resi building in Williamsburg

Hershy Silberstein’s Bluesky Builders, on March 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 48-unit, 32,835-square-foot residential building at 88 North 1st Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Last year the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 50-unit, 35,329-square-foot mixed-use building at 228 Berry Street in Williamsburg.

There have been 48 new building plans, including these, filed in Williamsburg in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00688688. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed eight-story residential building as per plans.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have five dwelling units. The second floor will have eight dwelling units. Floors three through seven will each have seven dwelling units per floor, the units on floors three through six will have balconies. The eighth floor will have recreation space. The cellar will have 18 parking spaces.

The architect listed is Hamish Whitefield Architects P.C.
