Zalmen Reiss files plans for a 20K sf residential building in Kensington

Zalmen Reiss, on July 28, filed a permit application for construction of a 10-unit, 20,026-square-foot residential building at 4324 12th Avenue in Kensington.

The plans call for the construction of a 65-foot tall, six-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new six-story building, ten-family and community facility.

The cellar of the building will be used as community facility space, per the plans. The ground floor will have community facility office space, as well as a parking garage. Floors two through six will each have two units. The second floor will also have community facility office space. The residencies will most likely be condos based on the average unit size of 1,504 square feet.

Asher Hershkowitz Architect is listed as the architect listed on the plans.

No demolition plans have been filed yet. According to the city’s GIS map, the property is currently occupied by three buildings.
