Yoel Kahan files plans for construction of a 53-unit resi building in Morris Heights

Yoel Kahan through the company HSK Management Inc., on February 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 53-unit, 35,785-square-foot building at 1840 Harrison Avenue in Morris Heights, Bronx.

The plans are one of three new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months. The plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in the neighborhood over the period.

The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00678814. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story residential building with total of 53 dwelling units.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have six dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have eight dwelling units, while the seventh floor will have seven dwelling units. The cellar will have recreation space.

The architect listed is Sander Williams Architect PC.

The property was acquired for $2.5 million on December 29, 2021.
