Yisroel Greenfeld permitted for 21-unit resi building in Williamsburg
Yisroel Greenfeld, on September 14, was given a permit for construction of a 21-unit, 15,931-square-foot residential building at 5 Withers Street in Williamsburg.
There have been nine new building plans filed in Williamsburg so far this year, compared to 22 in 2020.
Joel Schwartz is listed as the owner of the property. The pair have worked together on several developments in the past, such as their 66-unit, 63,644-square-foot mixed-use building at 1884 Broadway in Ocean Hill.
The plans, pre-filed on June 8, 2020, call for the construction of a 73-foot tall, seven-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed seven-story residential building.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and 12 parking space. The second floor will have four dwelling units and the lower half of one duplex unit, while the third floor will have four dwelling units and the upper half of a duplex unit. The fourth floor will have four dwelling units and the lower half of one duplex unit, while the fifth floor will have two dwelling units and the upper half of one duplex unit. The sixth floor will have two dwelling units and the lower half of one duplex unit, while the seventh floor will have one dwelling unit and the upper half of one duplex unit. The seventh floor will also have recreation spaces.
The property was acquired with one other property for $1.7 million on March 2, 2021.
