Yi Fei Fang files plans for 27K sf residential building in Kensington

Yi Fei Fang, on June 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 29-unit, 27,893-square-foot residential building at 835 40th Street in Kensington, Brooklyn.

The plans call for the construction of a 50-foot tall, five-story, residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed five-story residential building and enclosed parking with 15 spaces.

The cellar of the building will have storage space for both the building and tenants, per the plans. The ground floor will be split between a residential lobby, ambulatory diagnostic or treatment health care facilities, and a daycare. The second floor will have seven dwelling units along with recreation space. Floors three and four will each have eight dwelling units and the fifth floor will have six dwelling units. The building will have additional recreation space on the roof and be equipped with 15 accessory parking spaces.

The property was acquired for $4 million on June 15, 2018.
