Xi Zhao permitted for 34-unit resi building in Flushing
Xi Zhao, on October 19, received a permit for construction of a 34-unit, 27,586-square-foot residential building at 140-46 Sanford Avenue in Flushing.
The plans were one of 77 new building plans filed in Flushing in 2019. There were 66 new building plans filed in the neighborhood last year, with another 67 new building plans filed this year so far.
The plans, pre-filed on August 23, 2019, call for the construction of a 79-foot tall, eight-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: to erect new eight-story 34-units multi-family apartment building with community facility use.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby, one dwelling unit, and four parking spaces. The second floor will have a healthcare facility. Floors three through seven will each have six dwelling units per floor, the third floor will also have a terrace. The eighth floor will have three dwelling units, multiple recreation spaces, and a private terrace.
