Xenolith Partners files plans for 74-unit mixed-use building in Brownsville

Xenolith Partners, on December 2, filed a permit application for construction of a 74-unit, 59,072-square-foot mixed-use building at 1366 East New York Avenue in Brownsville.

The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building. The owner representative was Terri Belkas-Mitchell, principal of Xenolith.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed new seven-story mixed-use building

Per the plans, the building’s cellar will have a lunch room, three offices, conference room, exercise room, and multipurpose room. The ground floor will have a second lunch room, health center, workspace, eight offices, and management office. Floors three and four will each have 14 dwelling units, the fifth floor will have 12 dwelling units, the sixth floor will have 11 dwelling units, and the seventh floor will have nine dwelling units and a community room.

Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC is the architect named.

Demolition plans have not yet been filed.
