Wonder Works submits $61M condo plan with 71 resi units in East Harlem
Daniel Klaynberg, Eric Brody, and Michael Belkin of Wonder Works Construction Corp. submitted plans on September 30 for a condominium with 71 residential units at 181 East 101st Street, which has an an alternate address of 1834 Third Avenue, in East Harlem. Wonder Works is run by Daniel Klaynberg’s father, Joseph Klaynberg.
The plan, ID CD200256, has a current sellout price of $61 million with the New York State Attorney General’s office. The plan has not yet been recorded as accepted, something that normally happens several months after the submission date. Once the plan is accepted, the developer may begin marketing the units for sale.
The plan indicates that the building will have one commercial unit, one professional unit, and 71 residential units.
The property was acquired for $13.4 million in July of 2019 from the Roman Catholic Church.
In March, Joseph Klaynberg signed a new construction loan agreement with lender Bank Leumi USA valued at $30 million for 1834 Third Avenue in East Harlem.
Wonder Works is responsible for other large condo developments around Manhattan as well. Vitre, a 48-unit condo at 302 east 96th street. The development has a $91 million sellout currently with the AG.
