Witold Brend files plans for 35-unit mixed-use building in Greenpoint
Witold Brend, on September 13, filed a permit application for construction of a 35-unit, 43,696-square-foot building at 1024 Manhattan Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
These are the largest plans, in terms of dwelling units, filed in the neighborhood so far this year. In total there have been seven new building plans calling for a combined 79 dwelling units.
The plans call for the construction of a 95-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00583473. The development site spans three tax lots.

The ground floor of the building, per the plans, will have a residential lobby and commercial space. The second floor will have four dwelling units, recreational space, and a private terrace. The third floor will have six dwelling units, while floors five through seven will each have five dwelling units per floor.

The property was acquired for $1.8 million on December 8, 2020.
