Vornado files plans for $16M multi-floor rehab at 1 Penn Plaza

Vornado Realty Trust filed alteration plans calling for a $16.6 million rehabilitation of its building at 1 Penn Plaza at 250 West 34th Street in Penn Plaza, in Manhattan.

The plans call for a rehab of floors two and three of the building. The plans are filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under the number M00474692.

The plans are described in the filing as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith.

In April of last year, the developer paid Kmart’s Transform Operating Stores LLC $34 million to buy out the remaining term on its lease at the building.
