Vornado files plans for $11.7M interior rehab at Hotel Pennsylvania

Vornado Realty Trust, on June 21, filed plans for a $11.7 million interior rehabilitation of several floors of the Hotel Pennsylvania at 401 Seventh Avenue in Penn Plaza.

The plans call for work on floors two through 21 and the roof of the 305-foot tall, 23-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00526991.

The project is described in the filing as: Hereby filing the removals of the interior partitions and minor mechanical equipment from the roof down to the second floor as shown on plans filed herewith. No change to use, occupancy or egress.

AAI Architect PC is listed as the architect.

Last fall the developer formally completed an $11 million exterior rehab at the building.
