VAJA Group files plans for two buildings with combined 84 units in Bronx

The VAJA Group, on February 22, filed two permit applications for the construction of a 38-unit, 25,950-square-foot residential building at 2081 Anthony Avenue in Fordham Heights, the Bronx, and a 46-unit, 32,019-square-foot residential building at 1818 Prospect Avenue in East Morrisania, the Bronx. Moses Freund, managing partner at the VAJA Group, filed the plans.

The developer has now filed five new building plans, at least, since December of 2021. The five plans combine to call for the construction of 293 dwelling units. Four of the plans have been for developments in the Bronx and one has been in Queens.

The first plans call for the construction of an 84-foot-tall, eight-story building at 2081 Anthony Avenue and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00679772. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed eight-story residential building: subject to 421-a deadline.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have recreation space and three dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have five dwelling units per floor.

The architect listed is S. Wieder Architect P.C.

The second plans call for the construction of a 75-foot-tall, seven-story building at 1818 Prospect Avenue and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00664644. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed seven-story residential building: subject to 421-a deadline.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have six dwelling units. The second floor will have seven dwelling units, and floors three through seven will each have six dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreation space and the cellar will have parking.
