Two Trees files plans for 399-unit mixed-use building in williamsburg
David Walentas’ Two Trees Management, on December 23, filed a permit application for construction of a 399-unit, 444,575-square-foot building at 105 River Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Bridget Mccrum filed the plans.
The development is part of a larger plan from Two Trees to bring two towers with over 1,000 dwelling units, office space, a pool, and a beach to the site.
The plans have been inthe public eye for years now, since the developer announced the plans in 2019 after acquiring the former Con Edison oil tank storage lots for $150 million.
Back in March of this year, the developer submitted a draft environmental impact statement detailing plans for the two-tower, 1.3 million-square-foot, mixed-use development with 1,250 dwelling units.
Brownstoner released renderings for the project earlier this year.

The new building plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in Williamsburg this year, per a PincusCo analysis.
The plans call for the construction of a 473-foot-tall, 42-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00629573. The development site spans two tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: 42-Story Mixed Use New Building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have residential and community facility lobbies, an office, and several retail spaces. Floors two and three will have a parking garage. Floors four and five will have health care space. The sixth floor will have a reading room, conference room, business center, office, exercise room, yoga studio, party room, kid’s room, dining area, and recreation space. Floors eight through 10 will each have 13 dwelling units per floor, while floors 11 through 19 will each have 12 dwelling units per floor. Floors 22 through 42 will also each have 12 dwelling units per floor.
