Isaac Rosenberg files plans to convert Greenpoint commercial building to 10-unit resi building

Isaac Rosenberg, on December 30, filed plans for to convert a commercial building to a residential building with 10 dwelling units at 257 Driggs Avenue in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

The plans call for the increase in size and change in use of the building from a 17-foot tall, one-story building with no dwelling units to a 36-foot tall, three-story building with 10 dwelling units. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00653457.

The new building will be 14,779-square-feet, while the existing building is roughly 6,401-square-feet.

The project is described in the filing as: Proposed three-story mixed use building.

Per the plans, part of the ground floor will remain retail space, while part will be converted to a residential lobby and one dwelling unit. The second floor will have five dwelling units and the third floor will have four dwelling units.

The architect listed is Kao Hwa Lee Architects Pc.

The property was acquired for $4.4 million on November 16, 2021.
