Tom Wu files plans for 82-unit mixed-use building in LIC

Tom Wu through the company Davis Street Development LLC, on April 29, filed a permit application for construction of an 82-unit, 62,313-square-foot mixed-use building at 45-19 Davis Street in Long Island City, Queens.

The plans call for the construction of a 230-foot tall, 21-story mixed-use building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number Q00501883. The development site spans four tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: new building – 21-story mixed-use building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and utility room. The second floor will have 12 enclosed parking spaces. The third floor will have two dwelling units, floors four through 14 will each have four dwelling units per floor, and floors 15 through 20 will each have six dwelling units per floor. The 21st floor will have a terrace and a recreation room.

The building will have 489 square feet of commercial space in the cellar for a retail store.
