Timber Equities permitted for demolition of building, ahead of 29-unit development in Riverdale

Timber Equities, on November 30, was given a permit for the demolition of a building at 3893 Waldo Avenue in Riverdale, Bronx.

The plans, pre-filed on December 18, 2018, call for the demolition of a two-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: demolition of a two-story house.

On June 22, 2019, the developer filed plans calling for a 55-foot tall, five-story, 19,732-square-foot residential building with 29 dwelling units. The. building will also have a lobby, community facility space, and an exercise room, according to the plans, which are awaiting permits.

The property was acquired for $1.8 million on October 9, 2018.

The developer is also planning a 49,300-square-foot, 55-unit rental building at 2395 Palisade Avenue in Spuyten Duyvil.

Both buildings are being designed by Kutnicki Bernstein Architects.
