Thomas Anagnostopoulos files plans for 20-unit mixed-use building in Astoria

Thomas Anagnostopoulos, on December 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 20-unit, 25,836-square-foot mixed-use building at 31-06 24th Road in Astoria, Queens.

There have been 29 new building plans filed in Astoria this year.

The plans call for the construction of a 64-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00617404. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: one new six-story, mixed-use building with 20 dwelling units with parking at the second floor and commercial/community facility at the ground floor and cellar.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby, healthcare facility, and retail space. The second floor will have parking for 17 cars and public and private roof terraces. Floors three and four will each have six dwelling units, the fifth floor will have four dwelling units and terraces, and the sixth floor will have four dwelling units. The roof will have a terrace.

The architect listed is Gerald Caliendo Architects.

The property was acquired with three other properties for $10.3 million on October 30, 2018.
