Horizon Group permitted for construction of 70-unit mixed-use building Bushwick

The Horizon Group, on September 15, was given a new building permit (NB) for construction of a 70-unit, 61,917-square-foot residential building at 333 Irving Avenue in Bushwick. The developer received its initial foundation (FO) permit in May.

The plans, pre-filed on April 11, 2019, call for the construction of a 112-foot tall, 11-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: propose new 11-story mixed-use building.

Plans indicate the building’s cellar will have recreational space, laundry, storage, and utility space. The ground floor will have a residential lobby, non-commercial art galleries, and 49 attendant parking spaces. The second floor will have an additional non-commercial art gallery, as well as five dwelling units. The third floor will have six dwelling units and a passive recreation space. The fourth floor will have 10 dwelling units, the fifth and sixth floors will each have nine dwelling units, floors seven through 10 will each have six dwelling units, while the 11th floor will have seven dwelling units. The seventh floor will have a private terrace. The roof adds additional recreation space.

NY Building Associates Inc. is in charge of the architecture.

The property was acquired for $11.5 million on November 12, 2019.
