Horizon Group files plans for construction of 66-unit resi building in Bushwick

The Horizon Group, on November 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 66-unit, 43,260-square-foot residential building at 389 Weirfield Street in Bushwick.

The plans call for the construction of a 120-foot tall, 12-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: construct new 12-story residential-use building as per plans filed.

The cellar will have several indoor and outdoor recreation spaces, according to the plans. The ground floor will have additional indoor and outdoor recreation spaces, a residential lobby, mailroom, and three dwelling units. Floors two through nine will each have six dwelling units per floor, while floors 10 through 12 will each have five dwelling units per floor. The building will also have recreation space and a ground floor parking garage for 36 cars.

Aufgang Architects is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans were filed in September for the one-story structure on the property.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The developer is also planning a five-story residential building at 378 Weirfield Street.
