Gjek Popaj files plans for 51-unit mixed-use building at recently purchased Fordham parcel
Gjek Popaj, on November 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 51-unit, 29,440-square-foot mixed-use building at 113 East 184th Street in Fordham, the Bronx. The developer purchased the property for $2.1 million in August.
The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: new eight-story mixed-use building.
The cellar will have storage space and a laundry room, according to the plans. The ground floor will have three dwelling units and a health care facility. The second floor will have six dwelling units, while floors three through eight will each have seven dwelling units per floor. The building will also have outdoor recreation space.
Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect.
No demolition plans have been filed yet.
