Georgetown Company files plans for $18.1M fit-out for Mount Sinai in Clinton
The Georgetown Company, on September 27, filed plans for an $18.1 million fit-out of several floors for the hospital Mount Sinai at 787 11th Avenue in Clinton, Manhattan.
There have been $42 million of alteration plans filed at the building so far this year.
The building, originally constructed in 1929, encompasses roughly 505,000-square-feet of rental space. After the property was acquired by the developer for $255.5 million on July 10, 2015, there was a large renovation to transform the building into a life sciences hub led by Mount Sinai Medical Center.
The plans call for work on all floors, along with the roof and cellar of the 160-foot-tall, 10-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00493697.
The project is described in the filing as: Mount Sinai Health System – first, sixth, eighth floor fit-out – modifications of partitions, ceilings, doors according to plans filed herewith. No change to use, egress or occupancy.
The architect listed is Mitchell Giurgola Architects Llp.
The property was acquired for $255.5 million on July 10, 2015.
