Durst files plans for $2.1M rehab to one floor at 1155 Avenue of the Americas

The Durst Organization, on May 28, filed a permit application for a $2,136,000 rehab of the 34th floor of an office building at 1155 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown.

The plans call for no change of use while renovating the one floor in the 511-foot tall, 40-story office building.

The plans are stated as: filing herewith for interior renovation. Work types shall include non-structural demolition and general construction as shown on plans. No change of use, occupancy or egress under this application.

Blockchain software firm R3 LLC signed a 10-year lease for the 17,246-square-feet 34th floor in March. They join Check Point Software Technologies, Equinix, and Indeed.com as major tenants of the building.

The renovation will be done by Corgan Associates Architects.
