Uri Kaufman files plans for 72K sf self-storage building in Far Rockaway
Uri Kaufman, on May 27, filed plans to construct a 72,996-square-foot self-storage building at 357 Beach 79th Street in Far Rockaway, Queens.
The plans call for construction of a 77-foot-tall, six-story storage building.
The plans are stated as: construction of a six-story, self-storage facility as per the plans filed herewith.
The ground floor of the proposed building will have storage space, loading berths, 14 parking spaces, utility rooms, and offices. Floors two through six will all be used for self-storage space.
Kaufman purchased the property for $5.15 million from John Picone. The deal was signed on January 11, 2018 and recorded on January 18, 2018. Kaufman was given a $1,610,096 loan from Sterling National Bank.
The architect behind the development will be Frank G. Relf Architect, P.C.
