Brooklyn Home Company is fully permitted for construction of 23K sf resi building in Park Slope
The Brooklyn Home Company, on October 15, was given a permit for construction of a 14-unit, 23,727-square-foot residential building at 670 Union Street in Park Slope. The developer was issued the initial FO and NB permits in August. Brooklyn Home concentrates on buildings homes for sale, however, there are not yet any condominium plans reported with these addresses on the New York State Attorney General’s website.
The DOB plans, pre-filed on October 23, 2018, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, six-story residential building. William Caleo, co-founder of Brooklyn Home, was the owner representative on the filing.
The project is described in the filings as: construction of new six-story building.
The ground floor of the building will have a lobby and two dwelling units, according to the plans. Floors two, three, and six will also each have two dwelling units, while floors four and five will each have three dwelling units. The building will also have a cellar with 14 storage rooms as well as 11 parking spaces on the ground level.
Mesh Architecture is listed as the architect.
Four tax lots were acquired for about $7.9 million and combined into a single tax lot.
At least one of the two-story structures that previously occupied the property was demolished in July.
Reports around the time of filing indicated an estimated completion date had not been announced.
