Briad Group files plans for 96-unit mixed-use building in Jamaica
The Briad Group, on April 26, filed a permit application for construction of a 96-unit, 73,489-square-foot mixed-use building at 88-36 139th Street in Jamaica, Queens. Brad Honigfeld, founder of the Briad Group, filed the plans.
The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building. The Schedule A references 100 dwelling units, which are a mix of Class A apartments and affordable units for seniors.
The project is described in the filings as: Topo application for new eight-story mixed-use building.
According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have an office, business center, lounge, gym, yoga studio, and a recreation area. The dwelling units will occupy floors two through eight.
Montroy Demarco Architecture is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans have not been filed yet.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
