TCO for 194-key transient hotel in Coney Island
Gal Horowitz through the company 2201 Neptune Ave LLC, on February 9, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 194-key, 81,482-square-foot hotel at 2201 Neptune Avenue in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
The plans, pre-filed on October 13, 2017, call for the construction of an 88-foot-tall, seven-story hotel. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and four months.
The project is described in the filings as: new seven-story commercial building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building has multi-purpose rooms, conference rooms, waiting areas, lounges, offices, a play area, and eight hotel rooms. Floors two through five each have 34 rooms per floor, the sixth and seventh floors each have 27 rooms per floor. The building’s cellar has a hotel lobby and parking spaces for 25 cars.
