Supreme Equities permitted for 53-unit mixed-use building in Bronxdale
Supreme Equities, on February 11, was given a permit for construction of a 53-unit, 48,452-square-foot mixed-use building at 2500 Barker Avenue in Bronxdale, the Bronx. Abraham Wieder filed the plans. The permit issued was a plumbing permit. The developer was issued new building and foundation permits last fall.
The plans, pre-filed on March 19, 2019, call for the construction of a 74-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new seven-story mixed-use building.
The ground floor of the building will have community space, a lobby, and parking for nine cars, per the plans. The second floor will have additional community space. Floors three through six will each have 11 dwelling units per floor, four of the third floor units will have private terraces. The seventh floor will have nine dwelling units with three private terraces and one public terrace. The roof will have a recreation space.
The building is being designed by J Frankl Associates.
Renderings were released of the planned building last month, as reported by Yimby.
The property was acquired with two other properties for $750,000 on April 18, 2018.
