Steven Rigogiannis files plans for 30-unit mixed-use building in Astoria
Steven Rigogiannis, on December 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 30-unit, 24,206-square-foot mixed-use building at 14-41 Broadway in Astoria, Queens.
The plans call for the construction of a 79-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story mixed-use commercial and residential building.
The ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, two dwelling units, and two commercial spaces, per the plans. floors two through eight will each have four dwelling units per floor. The building will also have nine parking spaces.
Cherico King Architect is the architect listed.
In April of 2019, the developer filed plans for a similar building, with one more dwelling unit. Those plans were ultimately disapproved before being withdrawn earlier this month.
Demolition plans have not been filed yet.
The property was acquired for $1.6 million on November 17, 2010.
