Steel Equities, on March 13, was given a permit for a $35 million change in use of a 157K sf industrial building at 333 Johnson Avenue in East Williamsburg
The plans call for the increase in the size of the building to a 53-foot tall, 3-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: it is proposed to renovate and convert the use of the existing building to a movie studio as shown on plans. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $35,000,000.
