Staten Island University Hospital files plans for a $9M renovation of a hazardous building in Staten Island

Staten Island University Hospital, on March 26, filed a permit application for a $9 million renovation of a hospital building at 475 Seaview Avenue in Staten Island.

The plans call for a renovation of the 112-foot tall, 7-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: Staten Island University Hospital: construction of new 3rd floor comprehensive cancer center addition at existing hospital. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $9,000,000.
