State of New York files plans for a $1.7M rehab of Lehman College building in Kingsbridge

Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, on July 27, filed a permit application for a $1.7 million rehab at the APEX sports complex on the Lehman College campus at 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West in Kingsbridge.

The plans call for a rehab of the complex’s plaza and the exterior of the 60-foot tall, 2-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: Lehman College, APEX sports complex entry plaza and CMU (concrete masonry unit) artwork restoration including removal and replacement of existing plaza waterproofing membrane, insulation, perimeter flashing, pavers and “CMU” at spot locations of trellis artwork. Concrete slab on grade. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $1,700,000.

It is the fist rehab filed at the building since 2017.
