Stagg Group permitted for 51-unit resi building in Tremont
Stagg Group, on June 11, was given a permit for construction of a 51-unit, 33,783-square-foot residential building at 2441 Crotona Avenue in Tremont, the Bronx. Jay Martino, senior vice president of construction for Stagg, was the owner representative in the filing.
The developer received both new building and foundation permits.
The plans, pre-filed on September 1, 2020, call for the construction of a 68-foot tall, seven-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: erection of seven-story residential new building.
According to the plans, the ground floor will have a lobby, recreation room, and parking for 10 cars. Floors two through five will each have nine dwelling units per floor. The sixth floor will have eight dwelling units and a gym, while the seventh floor will have six dwelling units and a recreation room. The cellar will have parking for 23 cars.
Minkuk Kim of Marin Architects is listed as the architect.
The property was acquired for $2.5 million on August 14, 2020.
