Stagg Group permitted for 121-unit resi building in Highbridge

Mark Stagg’s Stagg Group, on February 8, was given a permit for construction of a 121-unit, 80,678-square-foot residential building at 1245 Edward L Grant Highway in Highbridge, the Bronx.

There have been 10 new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months. These plans call for the construction of more residential units than any of the plans that have been filed since in Highbridge.

The plans, pre-filed on December 7, 2020, call for the construction of a 114-foot tall, 12-story, 80,678-square-foot residential building with 121 residential units.

The project is described in the filings as: erection of 12-story residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have recreation space and 10 dwelling units. Floors two through 12 will each have 10 dwelling units per floor as well.

The property was acquired for $6.1 million on October 30, 2020.

Stagg Group is also developing a 105-unit, 77,255-square-foot residential building at 1073 Summit Avenue in Highbridge.
