City seeks rezoning for 42K sf school in Staten Island

New York City School Construction Authority is seeking rezoning for the construction of a 42,393-square-foot school building at 348 Deisius Street in Staten Island.

The city is seeking a City Planning Commission (CPC) Authorization per ZR Section 107-64 and CPC Certification per ZR 107-323 to facilitate the development.

The project will lead to the construction of a three-story, 42,393-square-foot school with a 45,819-square-foot playground and a 3,200-square-foot
play area.

The development site spans multiple tax lots. The overall site area of the lot is 115,300 square feet.
