Stagg Group files plans for a 102-unit residential building in Riverdale

Stagg Group, on June 19, filed a permit application for construction of a 102-unit, 109,270-square-foot residential building at 5278 Post Road in Riverdale in the Bronx.

The plans filed with the Department of Buildings, call for the construction of a 69-foot tall, seven-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed seven-story building.

The cellar of the building will have a residential lobby, according to the plans. The ground floor will have laundry facilities and seven dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have 16 dwelling units, while the seventh floor will have 15 dwelling units. The building will provide parking for 51 vehicles. The units will most likely be rentals based on the average size of 680 square feet.

Demolition permits will most likely not be needed as the lot is vacant currently.

Marin Architects is listed as the architect on the application.
