Vanderbilt Atlantic Holdings plans 316-unit mixed-use building in Prospect Heights
Vanderbilt Atlantic Holdings plans to build a 316-unit, mixed-use building at 840 Atlantic Avenue in Prospect Heights.
The 18-story building will have 50,650-square-feet of retail space and 7,490-square-feet of community facility use. Of the 326-units, 95 will be affordable units. The parcel is currently occupied by a 3,760-square-foot commercial and office building, used as a McDonald’s restaurant.
The plans were disclosed in a zoning map amendment for M1-1 to C6-3X and a zoning text amendment to designate a Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (MIH) area and allow flexibility in the location of the street wall to facilitate the new building.
Plans were discussed for the site in a July 23, 2019, Community Board 8 land use committee meeting.

NOTE: PincusCo originally listed Rabsky Group as the owner applicant behind the plans. However, Rabsky Group is just a passive investor for the project.
