Spaxel files plans for construction of a 128-unit resi building in Mount Hope

Spaxel, on December 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 128-unit, 72,017-square-foot residential building at 1824 Anthony Avenue in Mount Hope, the Bronx. Bimi Selimaj, director of field operations at Spaxel, filed the plans.

The email used by the filing representative was linked to Propco Holdings. The developer did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The estimated job cost listed is $10 million.

The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot-tall, nine-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00634339. The development site spans multiple tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: construction of a nine-story residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have 13 dwelling units. Floors two through seven will each have 15 dwelling units per floor, while the eighth floor will have 14 dwelling units. The basement will have recreation space and 11 dwelling units. The cellar will have parking for 65 cars.

The architect listed is Env Architects, DPC.

The property was acquired for $2 million on October 28, 2021.
