Spaxel files plans for 74-unit residential building in Tremont

Developer Spaxel, on September 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 74-unit, 59,292-square-foot residential building at 16 Wade Square in Tremont.

The plans call for the construction of an 80-foot tall, eight-story residential building. The owners representative on the filing was Shkumbin Selimaj.

The project is described in the filings as: construction of an eight-story building.

Per the plans, the 8,648-square-foot basement will has a residential lobby and community facility. Floors one through five will have a total of 55 dwelling units, the plans do not break the units out by floor. The sixth floor will have 10 dwelling units while the seventh floor will have nine. The cellar will provide space for 16 enclosed parking spaces.

The property was acquired for $950,000 on June 16, 2020.

A/R Environetics Architects is listed as the architect on the filing.

Demolition plans were filed in July 2020 for a two-story building occupying the site, the plans have not yet been permitted.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.
