Joel Schwartz of South Side Associates, on September 9, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 77-unit, 53,992-square-foot residential building at 820 Glenmore Avenue in East New York.
The plans, pre-filed on August 9, 2017, call for the construction of an 80-foot tall, eight-story, residential building. The time from pre-file to TCO was exactly three years and one month.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story residential building.
The plans state that the cellar of the building has laundry facilities. The ground floor has six dwelling units, a recreation room, and storage space. Floors two through six each have 11 dwelling units, while the seventh and eighth floors each have nine dwelling units and a recreation space.
Diego Aguilera Architects, P.C., was the project’s architect according to the plans.
The property was acquired for $1.1 million on June 26, 2019.
The property was previously occupied by a single-story structure, which was demolished in May of 2017.
