Southside United HDFC permitted for 94-unit resi building in Bushwick

Southside United HDFC, on September 29, was given permits for the construction of a 94-unit, 59,384-square-foot residential building at 15 Montieth Street in Bushwick. Juan Ramos filed the plans.

Both new building and foundation permits were issued.

The plans were one of 34 new building plans filed in Bushwick in 2019. There were also 34 new building plans filed in the neighborhood in 2020, while 11 have been filed so far this year.

The plans, pre-filed on January 17, 2019, call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, eight-story residential building with 94 residential units.

The plans are described in the filing as: construction of new eight-story building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a community room, office, and seven dwelling units. Floors two through six will each have lounges and 13 dwelling units per floor, while floors seven and eight will each have lounges and 11 dwelling units. The cellar will have an office and classroom space.

Magnusson Architecture and Planning, PC is listed as the architect.
