Solomon Schwimmer files plans to enlarge Flatbush resi building from six units to 17

Solomon Schwimmer, on December 13, filed plans for a project to increase the size of a residential building from a three-story, six-unit building to a four-story, 17-unit building at 1359 Nostrand Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn. The project will roughly double the size of the building, from approximately 5,148-square-feet to approximately 10,837-square-feet.

It is important to note that there is a conflict in the filing, with the plan’s scope of work only listing nine proposed units while the description notes 17 units.

The estimated job cost is currently listed at just shy of $1.5 million.

The developer recently filed a permit application for construction of a 46-unit, 31,580-square-foot residential building at 527 Grand Avenue in Crown Heights.

The plans call for the increase in size of the building from a 33-foot tall, three-story building with six dwelling units to a 43-foot tall, four-story building with 17 dwelling units. This was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00636739.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed enlargement to existing three-story building, proposed a four-story and penthouse building total of 17 dwelling units.

Per the scope of work, the newly constructed fourth floor will have two dwelling units and the newly constructed penthouse will have one dwelling unit.

The architect listed is Diego Aguilera Architects P.C.
