Boris Babakhanov files plans for 81-unit resi building in Bedford Park
Boris Babakhanov, on December 14, filed a permit application for construction of an 81-unit, 54,767-square-foot residential building at 2829 Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park, Bronx.

The plans are one of 13 new building plans filed in the neighborhood so far this year. The plans call for the construction of the second most residential dwelling units in Bedford Park this year.
The plans call for the construction of a 115-foot-tall, 13-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00643054. The development site spans three tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: construct new 13-story (twelve floors and basement) residential building as per plans filed.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a recreation space and seven dwelling units. Floors two through eight will each have seven dwelling units per floor. The ninth floor will have recreation space and six dwelling units. Floors 10 through 12 will each have six dwelling units per floor. The basement will have one dwelling unit.
The architect listed is Issac & Stern Architects, P.C.
Back in the spring of this year, the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 44-unit, 28,245-square-foot mixed-use building at 2739 Creston Avenue in Riverdale, the Bronx. In March, the developer filed plans for a 34,665-square-foot residential building with 42 dwelling units at 243 East 202nd Street in Bedford Park.
