Solomon Landau permitted for $3.5M project to convert car shop to 23K sf office in Flatbush
Solomon Landau, on November 18, was given a permit for a $3.5 million project to convert a car repair shop to a 23,373-square-foot office building at 646 Parkside Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn.
The plans, pre-filed on July 24, 2019, call for the increase in the size of the building from a 20-foot tall, one-story, 9,760-square-foot car repair shop to a 63-foot tall, five-story, 23,373-square-foot office building. The building will also have a community facility space.
The project is described in the filings as: vertical enlargement of existing one-story to proposed five-story commercial/community facility. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $3,500,000.
The existing one-story structure will be converted to a lobby, per the plans filed. The newly constructed second and third floors will be used for office space, while the newly constructed floors five and six will be used for a health related facility.
Bricolage Design Associates is listed as the architect.
