City files plans for $2.8M plans to add seven units to resi building in Central Harlem
New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, on November 18, filed a permit application for a $2.8 million project to to add seven units to a 25,236-square-foot residential building at 131 West 129th Street in Central Harlem.
The plans call for the addition of seven dwelling units to the 60-foot tall, six-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: substantial renovation of six-story plus cellar apartment building. Fire alarm and other separate trades to be under separate filings. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,767,587.00.
Floors two and three will go from two dwelling units to four dwelling units, while floors four through six will each go from two residential units to three residential units.

These are the first plans filed at the building since 2011.
