Solomon Feder permitted for 165-unit residential building in Astoria

Solomon Feder, on March 10, was given a permit for construction of a 165-unit, 171,650-square-foot residential building at 26-25 4th Street in Astoria. The building will have two towers.

The plans, pre-filed on September 8, 2020, call for the construction of a 204-foot tall, 18-story, 171,650-square-foot residential building with 165 residential units.

The project is described in the filings as: multi-story residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking space and three dwelling units. Dwelling units will span the upper floors of both towers. The fifth floor of one of the towers will have an exercise room, lounge, outdoor recreation space, and co-working space for tenants. The roof will also have recreation space.

The property was acquired for $14.4 million on November 2, 2020.
