SL Green is permitted for $6.5M tenant build-out for MFA Financial at One Vanderbilt
SL Green Realty, on August 6, was given a permit for a $6.5 million tenant build-out for MFA Financial, Inc., at One Vanderbilt, which is at the address 10 Vanderbilt Avenue, in Grand Central.
The plans, pre-filed on February 5, call for a build-out on the 37th floor of the 1,401-foot tall, 67-story, building, which is under construction.
The project is described in the filings as: tenant is MFA Financial, Inc. – new tenant build-out on the 37th floor (48th floor marketing) at 1 Vanderbilt. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6.49 million.
SL Green has filed plans for several tenant build-outs at One Vanderbilt this year. In April, the developer filed plans for a $29.7 million built-out for space leased by McDermott Will & Emery. The next month, in May, the developer filed plans for a $29.6 million built-out for TD Bank, the first tenant that SL Green leased space to at One Vanderbilt.
