SL Green finishes $24.7M multi-floor rehab of 919 Third Avenue
SL Green Realty, on April 16, formally completed a $24.7 million rehabilitation of several floors of the office tower at 919 Third Avenue in Midtown East.
The plans, pre-filed on January 28, 2019, call for a rehab of floors one through four of the 578-foot tall, 47-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: installation of non load bearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change in use egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $24,700,000.
Gensler was the architect.
SL Green owns the building though a ground lease. Among the building’s notable tenants are Debevoise & Plimpton, Roth & Zabel, and Bloomingdales.
Last year Bloomberg L.P. paid Bloomingdales $36.1 million for an interest in their space in the building.
