Plans filed for 10-unit resi building in Morrisania

Shimshon Grunstein, on April 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 10-unit 7,502-square-foot residential building at 4831 White Plains Road in Morrisania, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 40-foot tall, four-story residential building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number X00502411. The development will occupy one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: new four-story residential building with penthouse floor.

Per the plans, floors one through four of the building will each have two dwelling units per floor, while the fifth story penthouse will have one dwelling unit.

The developer originally filed plans for the building in October of 2020, but those plans were disapproved.

Demolition plans were filed last October, but have not yet been permitted.

The property was acquired for $581,142 on February 17, 2021.
