Skyward Developers permitted for 25-unit mixed-use building in Highbridge

Skyward Developers, on February 5, was given a permit for construction of a 25-unit, 18,980-square-foot mixed-use building at 1000 Woodycrest Avenue in Highbridge. Joel Mittelman filed the plans.

The plans, pre-filed on July 8, 2020, call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building with 25 residential units.

The project is described in the filings as: seven-story mixed-use building.

The ground floor of the building will have one dwelling unit and a health care facility, per the plans. The second floor will have three dwelling units and a healthcare facility. Floors three through six will each have five dwelling units per floor. The seventh floor will have one dwelling unit, an exercise room, ad multiple terraces.

S&S Architectural Design is listed as the architect.

Demolition of the three-story building that had occupied the site was completed in November of last year.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The property was acquired for $1.1 million on December 30, 2019.

On July 29, the developer filed a permit application for a 25-unit, 20,666-square-foot residential building at 2189 Arthur Avenue in Tremont. The building will also have healthcare facilities.
